This policy covers the data Horizon International LLC collects as the operator of Onyx Checkout: the account data of merchants who sign up. For the data of your buyers, which we handle on your behalf, see the Data Processing Agreement.
1.Who is responsible
Horizon International LLC, 1209 Mountain Road PL NE #5605, Albuquerque, NM 87110, United States, is the controller of merchant account data. For anything in this policy, write to support@onyxcheckout.com.
2.What we collect about you
- Account: name, email address, password hash, and the language of the interface.
- Store configuration: store name, domains, checkout settings, shipping rules, offers and pixel identifiers.
- Credentials you enter: access tokens and API keys for your own store and payment accounts. These are encrypted at rest and are never shown back to you in full.
- Billing: which plan each store is on, its status and renewal date. Card details are handled by our payment partner and never reach our servers.
- Technical: IP address, browser and timestamps of requests, kept in server logs for security and debugging.
3.Why we use it
- To give you the service and keep your checkout running — performance of our contract.
- To bill you and prevent abuse — our legitimate interest and legal obligations.
- To answer support requests and send service notices — performance of our contract.
- To keep the service secure and diagnose faults — legitimate interest.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use your data or your buyers’ data to advertise to anyone.
4.Who else sees it
Only the providers we need to run the service, each under a contract that limits them to our instructions:

We may also disclose data where the law requires it, or to protect the service and its users.
5.Where your data lives
The database and file storage are hosted in the European Union. Some providers listed above operate in the United States; transfers rely on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
6.How long we keep it
- Account and configuration: while the account exists, then 30 days, then deleted.
- Billing records: as long as tax law requires, normally up to ten years.
- Server logs: up to 90 days.
7.Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, and receive it in a portable format. Write to support@onyxcheckout.com; we answer within 30 days. If you are in the EEA or the UK you may also complain to your data protection authority.
8.Cookies
The dashboard uses only cookies that are necessary to run it: the session that keeps you signed in, the store you have selected, and a referral cookie set when you arrive from an affiliate link. No advertising cookies are set by us on the dashboard.
